As a launch of my new blog I thought I’d have a little give-away just to see who has found it! I won’t be telling any of my friends that this is here but I hope if anyone finds it they spread the word. I may have a special prize for anyone I know who let others know about it!
The “rules” are simple. Make a comment on this post and name one thing that says “vintage” to you.

I’m giving away a set of 12 photo note-cards for a little ‘old fashioned’ writing.
These flowers I bought yesterday at Albertson’s 3 for $12.00 . I loved the colors so much that I just had to play with it photographically speaking.
Thank you and good luck! I can’t wait to see who wins… and I’ll die laughing if no one finds it and comments!

Your flowers are beautiful. Good luck to you with your site and the photography. I will add you to my blogroll, but no need to include me in your contest. To me vintage is the use of one’s good old fashioned imagination.

Heehee…I found this blog last night while feeding Creed. China tea cups and saucers say vintage to me. Fewer people take the time to sit and visit over a cup of tea any more.

I love this new blog, Chautona! And the bicycle seat is what says vintage to me.

Chautona.
LOL! I don’t mean that you are old. However your appreciation for things with a vintage flair make you come to mind when I hear the word vintage.

Something that says ‘vintage’ to me. Hmmm. Records. Like music records.
And the boxes of the little records that my husband got from his parents recently.

Honestly, I think of The Antique Roadshow when I think of vintage!
(and the music that they play too!! hee hee!)
And Rachel gets bonus points for telling me about your blog.

I’m loving these responses.
Sensualist- You have a beautiful definition! That is just perfect.
Lisa- I love that you think vintage personifies my taste. That is so cool
Thank you everyone… I’m having fun! Once the cards actually arrive, I’ll make a drawing from this.
I’l add an extra entry in the pot for any things I see referred by anyone… someone has to tell me or I can’t know but other than that, hey!

Boy, am I ever late! Well, I stalk all your blogs, usually by links at the bottom of your siggy…hence finding this one. I like the photo – especially how the detail on the yellow flower pops so much, but the others are more subtle both in color and detail. Vintage to me usually means beautiful, feminine, handmade clothes.

Oh Vintage…
Let’s see — that would have to be OLD SMELLY MUSTY YELLOW PAGED BOOKS!!
My fav… with a cuppa joe… and a lot of free time on my hands.
I pile my vintage books by color — all about the house. Most of them I’ve read… except the old MATH text book. They make great conversational pieces… and great decorations too.
I love this blog Chautona.

Vintage has to be old flowered or patterned feed sacks that our mothers or grandmothers bought their flour in then used to make clothes for their families.
